Dyersburg Real Estate Sales Statistics April 2013
Here are the Dyersburg area real estate sales statistics for the month of April 2013. For the city of Dyersburg only home sales(# of units sold dropped by 38%) from the same period one year ago.I believe this drop is because of the drop in the number of foreclosures. Most people relocating to the Dyersburg area buy out in the county and not in the city.
For outside the city (Dyer County) home sales actually increased by 43% over the same period one year ago. The average sales price increased from $115,078 to $130,780. This would indicate a drop in number of foreclosures and an increase in the number of "normal" home sales.
