How's the Real Estate Business doing in Dyersburg,Tennessee?

I have 8 or 10 people a day ask me how the real estate business is in Dyersburg. My response is we are booming but ask me again after this tax credit period ends this Friday night.

In addition to our clients chasing the tax credit money, we still have alot of people chasing good deals in the foreclosure market. I am seeing a slight decline in the foreclosures hitting the market here.

My guess is that our business will fall off some after tomorrow but should continue to be better than this time last year.

Jobs Still Driving Dyersburg Real Estate Market

I know I wrote in my last post about World Color Press closing its doors in a few weeks but I believe things are still bullish for Dyersburg.

The plant Comptroller for the Eaton Corporation in Newbern came in my office yesterday and told me he was hoping to get some of the good workers from World Color when they close. He stated they are still hiring like crazy but need workers who have been factory workers in the past. He asked me if I knew of any good factory workers to refer to him. Of course I have some tenants working at World Color who have been with their company a long time and I am referring them to him.

I believe with the economy continuing to expand that the future for the Dyersburg real estate market is bright. I hosted a Realtor open house at two of my listed houses today and all the Realtors indicated that they are super busy showing and selling property. I believe that part of this is last minute clients trying to take advantage of the tax credit that expires soon but I am not so sure all of this activity is because of the tax credit.

I would be happy to assist you if you are looking to sell or buy a home in the Dyersburg area.
