Dyersburg Real Estate Market Sales Statistics 2010
I may be jumping the gun by 3-4 hours but I wanted to bring you the Dyersburg real estate market sales statistics for the first 11 months of 2010 verses the same period last year.
First of all, total sales for the Dyer County Board of Realtors for first eleven months of 2009 were $60,105,076. As of today the 2010 numbers are $59,776,494. Two of my agents told me 2-3 of their HUD foreclosure sales were not counted in that total so I am calling it a statistical tie with last year. With sales pretty slow in the first half of the year, it appears that the last half picked up considerable.
Total houses listed in 2009 was 593 and number sold was 305 with 51.43% sold. Total houses listed in 2010 was 592 and number sold was 296 with 50% sold.
In 2009 average sold price was $91,629 and 2010 it was $92,399. In 2009 the average days on the market of sold listings was 155 and in 2010 it was 133.
Carousel Realty(my company) was in the #3 spot(out of 10 companies) for total sales at $6,658,168.
We continue to see quite a few foreclosures but not as many as this time last year.
