Dyersburg Real Estate Market "Red Hot" November-December 2011
The Dyersburg real estate market has turned red hot during the month of November and going into the month of December.
I cannot pinpoint why people are choosing to buy now unless it is just demand that has built up and now is just the time.
Although we are still selling lots of Dyersburg foreclosures, we are also starting to have more "regular home sales" as well.
Part of this business is move-ups and part of it is recent transfers in. I am thank-ful to be so busy and look forward to assisting your family with their Dyersburg relocation. My direct number is 731-589-7841 and my name is Mike Frazier.
If I get a break from the activity in next day or two I will do another post comparing November 2011 to November 2010. I am sure we will see a healthy increase.

New Tire Plant Set To Open in West Tennessee
As many of my readers know, Goodyear Tire closed a tire plant in Union City, Tennessee earlier this year displacing about 1900 worker but now the news is that Titan Tire Company has purchased this closed plant along with some other assets of Goodyear and will re-open the west Tennessee tire plant for some production.
Here is a link to an article in the Jackson Sun newspaper discussing this purchase. It is my understanding that possession is going to happen "today".
As I get more information about this acquisition, I will bring it to you here. We all know that the Dyersburg real estate market is directly related to jobs in the Dyersburg area so this is great news for Dyersburg and the surrounding area.

More Job Openings In Dyersburg,Tn Area
There are more job openings in the Dyersburg,Tn area. Besides seeing several jobs listed in the newspaper here in Dyersburg, there are also job openings at Eaton Corporation in Newbern,Tn and also job openings in Blytheville,Arkansas at Tenaris.
I talked to supervisors at both plants yesterday and both told me they were hiring. The Newbern plant(Eaton) has several job openings and to find out about those go to Eatonjobs.com
The supervisor I talked to at Tenaris told me they are finishing up a multimillion dollar addition and moving in the new equipment. He believes they will hire lots of new people beginning after the first of the year. The Tenaris company link for more information is here.
I always like to share good news for the Dyersburg real estate market and we all know the economy is directly related to jobs.

Exclusive "Free" Foreclosure Site For My Dyersburg,Tn Clients
A few years ago I got tired of seeing all the foreclosure sites charging for looking at their foreclosure and preforeclosure houses so I created a site that lets you look for free.
I put together a blogsite that has approximately 90% of all the foreclosures that occur in Dyersburg,Tn and the Dyersburg area. Here is that site link to Dyersburg foreclosures.
The other 10% of the foreclosures will be listed by an agent in our MLS and I will write an article on complete with pictures and information when those come up.
The sites that charge have preforeclosures also but I am seeing what is hitting the courthouse steps as foreclosures and have that information readily available and sometimes write posts on my foreclosure site about those as well. If you have an address and want information about that call Mike at 731-589-7841 and I will tell you what I know(at no cost to you).
I would be remiss if I didn't tell you to use due diligence in buying on the courthouse steps or even after the properties are listed. Always use a real estate attorney to search the title and an experienced Realtor to guide you through the process.
I learned two interesting lessons yesterday about foreclosures.
1. When the house is auctioned on the courthouse steps, all the liens except mechanic, fixture or IRS are removed. An investor I know just got stuck with a fixture lien on a house he purchased 3 weeks ago. Now I believe he will do due diligence and have a title search performed before completing any future purchases.
2. The government (HUD foreclosures) does not have to disclose everything they know about the foreclosure they are trying to sell. First of all you cannot have the utilities turned on but have to rely on the inspection HUD had performed. Please use an experienced Realtor who can help you and your attorney dig up any potential problems. Make sure the Realtor asks the listing agent if there is any additional information that they possess and has not been disclosed.
