Dyersburg Real Estate Statistics For November 2011

As I promised in my last post, here are the November 2011 statistics for the Dyersburg real estate market.

During the month of November 2011 the residential sales volume for just Dyersburg was $1,149,300 verses $422,000 for the same period 2010. That is an increase of 33%.

For Dyer County(excludes Dyersburg,Newbern and Trimble) the sales volume for November 2011 was $947,500 verses $297,000 for the same period 2010. That is an increase of 300% for those 11 months. The towns of Newbern and Trimble did not fare so well.

I also ran the number for the entire year 2011 through the end of November and they came in for Dyersburg at $11,927,804 verses $9,287,908 for the same period in 2010 which is an increase of 4%. Up until November those stats were down from last year.

I really believe our Dyersburg real estate market has turned the corner. We currently have 20 more pendings due to close before the end of December so we will finish well ahead of last year.

If you are planning a move to the Dyersburg area and need a great real estate team to assist you, call Mike and his sales team at Carousel Realty (731-285-2277).
