Dyersburg Tennessee Chosen As Top Micropolitan Area In United States

Dyersburg,Tn has once again been recognized by Site Selection Magazine as one of the top micropolitan areas in the United States. A micropolitan is a rural area where the largest city does not exceed 50,000 in population.

Here is an introductory excerpt taken from today's article in the Dyersburg State Gazette.

Site Selection magazine has named the city of Dyersburg one of the top micropolitans in the country in its March 2012 issue. Dyersburg placed 32nd out of 576 micropolitans recognized in the United States. The recognition is a big feat, as the magazine is a respected source of information for expansion-planning decision makers. According to its website, Site Selection magazine is distributed to more than 44,000 executives responsible for site selection and facility planning decisions around the world.

Dyersburg is most deserving of this recognition because this is a great place to live, to work and to raise a family.
