Dyersburg Real Estate Market Conditions First Quarter 2015

A great way to measure the Dyersburg real estate market conditions is by absorption rate. Absorption rate is the number of houses sold divided by the number of new listings.

Down below you will see two graphs. During 2014 first quarter the absorption rate was 56% but in the same first quarter period in 2015 it was 64%. this tells me the Dyersburg real estate market has turned the corner and soon it will turn into a sellers market instead of a buyers market.

Another indicator that our market has flipped is the number of new listings is equal with the number of solds for March. That matches exactly with the problem of my agents and I having trouble finding listings to show our buyer clients.

I believe I mentioned in an earlier post that this is a great time to list your Dyersburg home. The graph for 2015 proves my point.

If you are looking for a Dyersburg professional real estate team to assist you with all your housing needs then you have found Mike Frazier and his staff at Carousel Realty. You can contact Mike day or night at 731-589-7841.
