Here is an excerpt from the article that was written:
High school students in Tennessee take end-of-course exams in English, algebra, biology, chemistry and U.S. history. To graduate, Tennessee high schools students must earn 22 credits in various subjects, including three credits in social studies, according to the Tennessee Department of Education.
Of the Tennessee schools in the 2015 U.S. News Best High Schools rankings, four were awarded gold medals, 12 earned silver medals and 98 received bronze medals.
Here is a link to the entire article. I read down further and saw that Dyersburg High School was rated with a silver medal but Dyer County High School came in at 41st place receiving a bronze medal.
My daughter graduated from Dyer County High School just a few days ago and alot of her friends just graduated from Dyersburg High School and both schools had lots of scholarships awarded.
